Hiking In Zion

So, Christian and I decided to go up to Zion to go on an evening hike and then to dinner! We had so much fun! We hiked the Emerald pools. We went to the upper pool and enjoyed the break from the heat for a little bit! My dad and his friend Andrew were kayaking the river up there in Zion so we met up with them and went to this great little place called the Flying Monkey. It was a fun little trip and we enjoyed it a lot!!

Back to Blogging!

Hey! So, I know its been a year but my brother Marty who is on a mission has requested that I start updating my blog so he can actually see what's going on in my life!! A lot of things have changed since last year! We bought our first house and did a major remodel on it! We re did the kitchen recently and we love it! We also got another dog! Her name is Miley and she is a boxer blue heeler mix. I promise to post more about our changes from the last year!

This is our house! We cut down the big cottonwood, re did all the flooring except the kitchen and dining room flooring, re painted the whole house in two tone, remodeled the entire kitchen, put in new window coverings and re did the garage that the previous owner had trashed! It was a foreclosure and it needed some serious help!!

This is our kitchen remodel. I will post a good before and after soon. It turned out beautiful! Christian did an amazing job!

Graduation, Lake and Camping!

So this last month we have had a lot of fun things go on! We had my brother Marty's graduation, had lots of family in town, went to the lake a lot and we went camping with some friends! We hope you enjoy the pictures!!


After our camping trip to New Castle Resevoir we stopped by the Mountain Meadows Massacre monument! I can't believe I have lived in St. George for 15 yrs and I have never been there. It was cool to see the overlook and the monument. Thanks to Christian for such an awesome camping trip! And to Ry and Nat. It was our first successful camping trip! It was a lot of fun and the only thing that went wrong was that it rained on us through the night and into the morning so we had to leave a little early. It's a good thing we both had full tents that had rain flys!

These pictures and video are the last couple days Sheri, Pete and Siena were still here in St. George. Siena loves the water and loved the splash pad!

Eric has been playing baseball for the Dodgers! He plays first base and right field! He is a stud!

This is our friend Natalie...we went over and spent some time with her on her birthday! It was the big 21!! WooHoo!!

So that is just about it for the last little bit! We are just hanging out loving the warm weather! Christian can't stay away from the golf course and I can't stay away from the lake and pool! We hope everyone is having an awesome start to their summer and we'll post again soon!

We miss having Sheri, Pete and Siena around down here...its just not the same without them! I miss having a lunch buddy! Sheri was always free on the days that I didn't work...I miss them a lot! We went and visited over the weekend...those pictures will follow in the next few days!!

So Grateful!!

So this is officially the first post without pictures! I feel like such a slacker...I don't have anything fun to post! On Easter sunday my brother was able to recieve the priesthood! It was so much fun to be there with him on that special day. Christian was able to stand in the circle with my dad, pete, marty and my grandpa. I am so happy that Christian is worthy to use his priesthood. I look up to him so much and I am so grateful for him and all he does! I am proud of my brother for keeping himself worthy as well to recieve the priesthood! I also need to say how blessed me and Christian are because we have such great families! They are all great examples to us!! Another huge blessing in our lives right now are our jobs. I feel humbled and grateful that I am able to have such a steady wonderful job! Christian may not love his jobs right now but I am so proud of him for sticking with them during this rough time...he is a great example to me! Thanks so much to all our friends and family and everything you do for us! We love you all!!

CRUISE!!

So Christian and I took a cruise with our closest friends from San Diego to Ensenada Mexico this past month! It was so much fun to go and just relax with everyone! The weather was a little colder than what we wanted but it didn't stop us from having fun! We enjoyed the endless amount of food and goodies and we had fun watching the shows! Thanks to everyone that went with us! We loved being in good company!
